Nata Exam 2025 Syllabus

It is the The NATA 2025 Syllabus has been designed to evaluate the aptitude of a prospective architect. 

Part A: Drawing and Composition

  • Color and Composition Understanding proportion, scale, and harmony of color.

  • Drawing and Composition (Black or white): Drawing objects as well as scenes, architectural elements using precise proportions.

  • 3D Composition Drawing and visualizing 3D objects using 2D drawings.

  • Aesthetic Sensitivity applying design principles to produce attractive sketches.

  • pattern drawing Create abstract and geometric patterns.

Part B: Aptitude

  • Visual Reasoning Understanding two-dimensional and three-dimensional compositions as well as visualizing things.

  • Logical Derivation solving problems logically as well as recognizing patterns and sequences.

  • general Knowledge (Architecture): Knowledge of famous architecture, buildings and architectural terminology.

  • Design Sensitivity Understanding textures, materials as well as design-thinking.

  • Numerical ability Basic math (algebra and mensuration, geometry) from the Class 12 syllabus.

  • General Ability Logical reasoning critical thinking and solving problems.

Candidates should concentrate on practicing questions from previous years or mock test to become familiar with the type of questions asked and the difficulty level.
